Personality and Interests:

Renegade usually sports a confident and sarcastic air. She can be easily swayed, however, and may become quite gloomy. She enjoys the night air and watching the lights of Gotham from a high roof top. Although she acts tough, she's a big push over with kids. Ren donates most of what she earns on her missions to charities and works at the Gotham City Library as a children's librarian when she isn't in costume. As a missionary, she'll take on almost any job as long as she gets paid. Her biggest rule is that if her target has to die, she'll bring him/her back alive to her employer so she doesn't have to do it. Out of thief life, she enjoys going to cafes and shopping with her best friend Margaret. Ren also enjoys babysitting her 8 year old niece. 

Bio:

Grace Porter was the second child born to Adam and Louise Porter, with the elder sibling being her brother Robert. The Porter family grew up in the lower class part of Gotham. Both parents worked all day to pay for bills, leaving Rob and Gracie to fend for themselves during the day. This led to both of them becoming independent at an early age, although it didn't bother them much. During ages 8 and 12, they spent their free time roaming the neighborhood with their friends. The group of kids all had the common problem of their parents not having enough money. They decided then to form a club called the Run Aways, or the Renegades. The kids took to stealing small things from the richer parts of the city, such as apples or other foods. They sold anything they didn't want for little cash. Gracie and Rob thought this would help their parents pull through. Things in the neighborhood started getting bad and the Renegades got into a fight with another group, this one made up of teenagers. Grace enjoyed the fights, although they hurt badly. It was a good stress reliever, she found. Once her mother had had enough with her coming home with wounds, Louise and Adam were furious. Crime was getting worse in the area, however, and the parents pulled some strings and asked a friend of the family, who owned a martial arts class, to teach the kids them to defend themselves. The Renegades eventually broke up and Rob and Grace took the class well into high school. As Grace grew up, she began to hate the upper class for their treatment of the lower classes. She figured that they had never done a thing to help her family at all. She got a job as a librarian and decided that if no one else would help the poorer citizens, then she would. She began to start stealing from stores, sporting a scarf to hide her face and a black jumpsuit. Over time, she got more daring, teaming up with different thieves such as Catwoman. Eventually, the GCPD took notice of her, along with some of the villains of Gotham. Grace took on the name "Renegade" since she turned her back on society and started working for her own accord. However, she isn't a villain because she works for both sides as long as she gets paid. 

Relationships:

Batman/Bruce Wayne: Although she isn't too fond of Batman, she'll help him when it benefits her. She thinks Bruce Wayne is handsome and kind, admiring his charity work. 

         

Catwoman: Renegade gets along pretty well with Catwoman. She gets annoyed when Catwoman leaves her to fight any guards that catch them in the act. Their friendship and rivalry for each other is strong. 

Harley Quinn: Renegade and Harley Quinn get along very well. They enjoy hanging out and talking. Ren worries about her situation with the Joker, however. Harley has endeared herself to Renegade and Ren will do almost anything for her.

Poison Ivy: Renegade and Poison Ivy are on friendly terms. They both have a time keeping Harley out of trouble. They like to share fashion tips and spend time talking over coffee. 

Joker: Renegade isn't very fond of Joker, but will work for him if he is willing to pay. She is slightly scared of him, as his constant smiling and madness is unnerving to her.

Two Face: The two don't get along at all, mostly because Ren will give him sarcastic remarks. She enjoys teasing him, only stopping when he holds a gun to her head. Although she hates his personality, he pays pretty well.

Penguin: They are both on neutral terms. Penguin permits her to speak her mind as long as she is polite and doesn't say anything to set him off. In tern, Renegade finds his gentlemanly attitude a breath of fresh air from her normal company. He gets annoyed, however, when he finds her hiding things in his hideout for other villain's missions. Ex: Hiding trophies for Riddler.

Riddler: Ren and Riddler are on good terms, mostly. She gets his jobs done quickly and works for him the most. She developed a small crush on him after a while, although they drive each other nuts. Riddler gets easily annoyed with her snide remarks and the two will continue to banter comically. 

Rob Porter: Ren loves her brother dearly, since they grew up closer than most siblings. Ironically, Rob is on the police force. Rob tends to leave his daughter, Ellie, with Ren when she's at home. They both have different views of justice and will often argue about what is right and wrong. She hides her identity from him so he will not be a target from enemies. 

Trivia:

Renegade's signature pink scarf was a gift from her grandmother when she was little. It always gave her comfort when facing a tough situation and can easily be used to knock out an enemy through stealth. She likes to hide emergency smoke pellets on the inside.

Ren likes mushy romance novels and movies. 

She has a mini hang glider built into her backpack that can glide short distances.
